Even though this is a pricey theater, there are a couple of really awesome perks to this place: You get the same kind of super-cushy recliner-style seats you get at the Majestic, but you can put the arm up in the center of the cluster of two, so you can actually cuddle nicely without the large pain of a firm plastic barrier; they show fully digital movies. That alone is worth holding out for--it's like watching hi-def TV at home, but on a much larger scale that would be possible in your average home. They also go for an older crowd, so if you're out on a date and go to an after-6 showing, there won't be any kids in the theater either.

The quirky side is the funky art hanging on the side walls. For that extra touch, these guys really earn that last star.

This place is going downhill since first opening....  bar always has a long line, popcorn is stale, now the staff is rude and unhelpful.

Someone was in our reserved seats so we got an usher to confirm we were in the right area.  We were, but someone was in the wrong seats so a group took our seats making us all very confused.  The usher told us someone was in the other peoples seats and there's nothing he can really do.  We didn't mind moving but if the seats are assigned we didn't want to be kicked out if someone else comes to claim their seats.  It's difficult enough to walk around with the popcorn bag and drink.  It was just odd that the usher was no help.  Before that we also had to deal with a crabby popcorn man yelling at the other employees that were standing around to help him.  Then the person that came to help him just yelled at him on how he was getting the popcorn, it was very uncomfortable.

We still go because the seats are comfortable and the digital screen is excellent but I might be complaining to management if they loose another one of my stars here...

If we could do zero stars, that is what we would do. We really wanted to like this place. REALLY. I mean, lazy boy-esque furniture that can be used to view a movie? good idea? Yah, if you follow through.

What are you paying for? 5 extra dollars for a reserved seat in a spot that wont put you in a chiropractors office within the week and a bag of cold popcorn? AWESOME. We had a group of 7 people so thats like roughly 100$ they made off of our party and they could only give us 3 bags of popcorn. They told us to come back in 15 minutes (you know, right in the middle of the beginning and whether or not it matters it was Batman so you kinda need to see all of it).

The last time, the place didnt even have enough popcorn and refused to bring us food during the movie. How is one supposed to know where to sit before even entering the movie theatre? The most recent time we went we reserved the seats via telephone with credit card. The whole 5 minutes that we saved driving to Bayshore, we would have way rather driven to the Majestic or some other movie theatre where parking is not totally ridiculous. They only let you put enough money in for 2 hours... most movies are longer than that.

Also-- one of the members of our party... it was 1115pm. He walked up to the bar and the bartender (1 of 3 employees present)  stared at him quizzically when he asked to have a drink. He replied how inconvenient it would be because he was in the process of closing and didnt have a cash drawer. If someone is paying that excessive amount to see a movie, I think the staff should be a little more accommodating.

PLUS THE SPEAKERS WERE BLOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The real kicker is that the person who asked for the drink, then asked for a water, but was refused that too. We don't think they should put the option of all you can pour butter and all you can shake salt and seasonings for the popcorn if you cant even deliver on the water.  This place is a farce.  We've give this place more than half a dozen chances, and they have failed us every time.  It's not worth what you pay and you can find a far better experience at other local theaters for far less.

Coming back home for a weekend to Milwaukee, a friend and I decided to see a movie at the I Pic - partly because I've been wanting to go and see what everyone was raving about, and also cause I love Bayshore and what could be better than them creating a lifestyle mall than to include a restaurant, bar, movie theatre and bowling alley.

I paid for our tickets, which was quite steep (for MKE); however, paying movies prices here in Chicago PLUS parking - it was nothing.  With the premium seating that I bought it included free popcorn, which was a great plus for me.

Prior to seeing the movie, we decided to sit at the bar and have a couple of drinks and much to my dismay and the menu - they DID NOT have Stella, so I settled for a Pilsner.

I will agree with Angela F and her assessment on the popcorn - it definitely wasn't fresh nor hot.  But I will willing to let that slide, because they had my favorite popcorn topping of white cheddar, lol.

On the the movie...I throughly enjoyed the movie and the seating. I think that the I Pic theater, is geared toward an older crowd of people that do not want their movie experience trampled upon by folks that don't want to hear excessive chatter etc while watching.

You get that experience here because there are only about 20 or so seats in there. It gives you the idea that you're at a private screening.

I'd definitely go again!

I just went to the Ipic earlier tonight and I have to say that it is a HUGE rip-off.  I was excited because of what I had read on the website about the VIP seating and waiters and ushers, but none of it was true.  "VIP" was basically normal theater seating.  Yes, the seats were more comfortable than usual, but not amazingly so.  The usher rolled his eyes when we said we didn't know where our seats were.  The popcorn was not good because it wasn't fresh.  The food was only OK, and we had to leave during the movie (quite the inconvenience) to go pick it up when it was ready despite what the website boasted about waitresses.  Even though I liked the "luxurious" atmosphere, I will not be returning to the Ipic and I won't be recommending that anyone else go there because it's not worth the extra money.

I went there last night the concept is really cool. The tickets are pretty expensive we paid $9 that's without popcorn. The parking is is a pain. There's a bar, bowling alley and restaurant. The seats are pretty comfortable. Every seat is a good a seat. Try it.
