Tuesday November 7th everyone has a chance to review the service provided to them over the last 2 years by the elected officials of the State of Texas.
If you like the way you've been served, give them 4 stars by voting to put them back in office.
If you think you've been screwed give them 1 star by voting for someone else.
If you don't vote you're dumber than the one that makes the wrong choice, because you let an idiot make the choice for you.
Takes less time to vote than write a yelp rview - what about it people --
ya gonna vote????

The League of Women Voter's website has a non-partisan objective voter's guide to educate you on the candidate's positions in all of the races.  They send them a form to answer four questions and print their responses.  I find it indispensable.  Here's the link:

The League of woman voters - the sesame street of Texas Politics -
better than nothing, but not much - ( Ok they work hard and I say thank you to them but still to me sesame street of politics)
google the names on your local and state wide ballots -
go to thier web pages
look at old news stories
Heaven forbid --- talk to friends and family
crud - if someone doesn't have either - try a coffee house
There are some fairly interesting blogs out there on most of the candidates - sometimes one has to go to page 23 or later to get past all the paid to position pages, but then you get past the paid hacks.
I just love this time of the year!

The voter's guide asks each candidate four questions and they give a response in 75 words or less.  So it gives a quick reference on at least those issues.
