Found this intriguing review. Can anyone illuminate this place for the new boy in town?

Well, if you want to really know a woman, go to good vibrations, check it out, ask some questions, then go home and find your inner retro-sexual.

It's a women-friendly and safe place to browse dildos and vibrators without having to worry about where they've been. They need to beef up (pardon the pun) their erotica section though. I mean, where can a hetero girl buy some hetero women's erotica? All that stuff is either for gay & hetero men, and lesbians. And tons of fetishy type stuff. But when it comes to turning the hetero woman on, all they can provide are dildos and vibrators. It gets tired.

Love the place.  I just got a new book called Sextrology.  It breaks down the signs by sexes.  Oh, and you can get vibrators and other toys there too.

This is where hippies who think sex is all about multiple orgasms, exercise, and reducing the risk of prostate cancer go to get their sex accessories. I go there to get condoms because they're cheap and they have my brand. Also, they are employee-owned. But the lack of taboo in the place drained the passion out of me and my former lover during my last visit. Their approach to sex seems very biological, and not very cerebral. Maybe it's because there are a shit-load of dildos laid out like shoes in a shoe store, being browsed and touched by tons of people--put them in a case! In all, go there, but don't go there on any day you plan on actually having sex; the atmosphere somehow essentializes the idea of sex into the act of stimulating your genitals in some way until reaching orgasm, recreating that 'eew' feeling you had about sex in the 5th grade.

But I like the dildos and vibrators on display. And people are only touching them and feeling their vibrations with their hands, nothing else. That's the cool thing about this store, it's so open and you don't have to worry about walking around a corner and seeing someone jacking off in a magazine.

Thanks for that orgy of opinion, guys. Seems to be a popular place - surprised to see noone other than Ben has reviewed it. http://www.yelp.com/bi... You don't strike me as a shy crowd, so come on, what are the best comparable places around town?

Well, there, Bob. Depends on what exactly you want to buy. Certain establishments specialize in certain things. ;)

McGinnis, we obviously didn't go to the same 5th grade!  Bob, good vibrations is a good place to start to see what kind of technology is out there, but one should also comparison shop online.  But there should be something like Car & Driver for sex toys, don't you think?  A monthly with big glossy spreads with the newest models in action, out there on the open road...well...in there on the new bedspread maybe?  What would it be called?

Ha ha! Kevin, I love it that you compared the toys to "technology". But all in all, I get a lot of um literature from going to the Gay Pride Parades, they have catalogs at booths they give out for free that are very um artistic and aesthetically pleasing (yeah, that's right), for both gays and heteros.
