First, go here and read: http://www.menshealth....

Then, bitch about why their choices are way, way, WAY off.

Actually, they're better than average, but let me be the first to say:

WHERE ARE THE CRAB CAKES IN MARYLAND?  At least let us argue between G&M and Timbuktu!  Softshell crab sandwiches, not one of the 59 Best Meals, sorry.

So, according to this article are there no "must-try eats" in MD?  I mean, we're not even on the map.

That's kind of sad AND yes, crabcakes.....?  Where?

Maryland is there.  Maryland's contribution is the fried softshell crabs at Harris Crab House in Grasonville.  Could be worse.  All us Michiganders got was the Coney Dogs in Detroit.  Puh-leeees.  I'd have put pasties on the list or even better Vernors Ginger Ale over a freakin chili dog.

Wisconsin is on for four things.  Those cheeseheads don't deserve that.  They're on there for Pabst.  I'll stick to my Michigan-brewed Bell's any day.

They completely missed all the awesome Cuban food in Florida.  Although key lime pie is certainly awesome.

Wait - what about the fudge and salt water taffy on that island right off the tip of Michigan?  And... the term for someone from Michigan is Michigander?!  I've -so- never heard of that.

Kevin, Dude, only the tourists eat that stuff.  The island is called Mackinac, pronounced Mack-in-awe.  Some people call us Michiganians, but that word makes me want to give a wedgie to whoever says it, so I wouldn't use it in my presence.

I just noticed there is no Chicago deep dish pizza either.  WTF??!!

Maryland is in there -- it's just in the South tab.

Don't tell anyone in the 'real' South.  While we Marylanders are technically south of the Mason-Dixon line, we fought on the wrong side in the War of Northern Aggression.  Which is why when you order ice tea in Maryland you can sweeten it without causing instantaneous diabetes.

So what is a person of Michigan persuasion called?  Michiganian?  Michigannans?  Steve?

In all fairness to Chicago deep dish pizza, they left NY style pizza off the list too.  What a screwed up list.
